Nursing and Health Sciences
NURSING AND MIDWIFERY | HEALTH SCIENCES
At FNHS there are 2 schools: The Queen Salote School of Nursing and Midwifery offers quality nursing and midwifery programs leading to registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife in Tonga. The School of Health Sciences provides the study opportunities that equip students who wish to pursue a career in the Allied Health Departments of the Health Care Sector. We currently offer programs in Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory Technology and Oral Health.

FEAH offers fourteen programmes; nine by SOE, two each by SMJ and Ako Tu’uloa, and STLC offers one. FEAH’s vision is ‘To aspire for excellence in programme development, delivery, scholarship and research and in the attainment of the highest standards in education. SOE has had an influential role in teacher education in Tonga for over eight decades, guided by a vision ‘to nurture quality teachers for Tonga’.
